When the droning hum of pure, regular existence becomes too much for you to hear anything else, just remember that the true nature of God (agape — love — beyond measure, without condition or ending, unbounded and relentless) is what’s actually at the bottom of it all, no matter what it feels like. Silence may be a prison of a million different things to you, but beneath that familiar, boring pain, beneath all the broken records that keep on repeating, and underneath all of those the insatiable compulsions, and the terrible, endless normalcy of it all, lies pure, perfect love that was purchased for you long ago with a price too great for words, and it was done for you like you were the only person in the world. We cannot understand this, but it is true nonetheless.
You, my friend, have open access to this love. It is unrestricted.
There is no separation between you and the divine substance by and in which all things consist; you have freedom to swim in it all, no matter what you are used to, no matter what they may have told you, and no matter what you may have done.
Soaking in this love is the only thing that can ever really restore us to our original design.
Now be free. Free yourself from everything that screams to the contrary, give yourself permission to relinquish all doubt, and let love in.
